L.C. Anderson High School is dedicated to providing students with a wholesome, comprehensive learning program of the highest quality. In recent years Anderson has been recognized by the Washington Post and by Newsweek Magazine as one of the Top High Schools in the nation.
We encourage our students to be good citizens, to pursue excellence, to take pride in their work and in their school and to be dignified in all of their endeavors.We are proud of our school and all of the accomplishments made by students and faculty.
We encourage all Anderson students to be courteous to their fellow students, their teachers, staff, visitors, and administrators at all times. We ask that the students take pride in keeping the school building clean and beautiful, both on the inside and the outside.
We ask our students to support and respect our school by being loyal, devoted and dedicated to making our school the best.
Belief Statement

All educators should be provided opportunities to grow through ongoing professional development that is relevant, organized and focused. Education from an international perspective provides learning opportunities for successful living in a diverse global society.
