BARANOFF CAMPUS ADVISORY COUNCIL The
purpose of the Campus Advisory Council (CAC) is
to assist and advise our principal, Linda Purvis, in bringing about
cooperation and coordination of our resources to maximize educational
opportunities for all Baranoff students. The main objectives of the CAC are to:
The council helps make many important decisions for our school! Some of last years results included allocating fund-raiser monies to purchase: literacy and math materials, science and sports equipment, music and art supplies. In addition, the council discusses issues such as maintaining campus safety and approving the campus achievement goals. The CAC meets monthly. The meetings are always open to the public and there is time allotted for public comment. Public comments will be listened to but addressed at a later meeting. If you have an agenda item you would like addressed at a meeting, there are forms available in the front office. Agenda items need to be received by a co-chair or the principal 14 days in advance. You may also address issues to any CAC representative; their names will be listed in the upcoming school directory. CAC minutes from the previous monthly meetings are posted on a bulletin board in the main hallway. All meetings are held in the Baranoff library. 2008-2009 CAC Meetings
