Technology Applications...
Technology Applications is a required
enrichment curriculum specified in Texas Education Code (TEC) §28.002 . This curriculum focuses on the teaching,
learning, and integration of digital technology knowledge
and skills across the curriculum, especially in the foundation
areas, to support learning and promote student achievement.
The state’s Technology Applications curriculum provides
a vertical look at what is expected for students Prekindergarten
through Grade 12. It prepares all students with a background
for whatever they may choose to do today as well as in their
future. The Technology Applications curriculum defines the
technology literacy requirement for students and teachers

| Susan Wolter has been a Technology Specialist at Bedichek Middle School for 6 years. She has 27 years of classroom teaching experience, a Masters of Arts degree in Curriculum & Instruction and has completed numerous Instructional Technology courses in the University of Texas Doctoral program. Susan is at Bedichek on a part-time basis to promote Technology Integration and to provide sustained, on-site staff-development and assistance for teachers and students. |

| Bedichek welcomes back Naomi Reneau as the full-time campus
technology support specialist. Naomi provides technical
support for all computer labs, classroom and administrative
computers, and technology peripherals. In addition,
Naomi coordinates the Student TechCorp program, training Bedichek students to problem-solving and make basic computer repairs. |
