Students may either bring a lunch, or purchase one through the cafeteria. Breakfast is also served daily at Davis Elementary before school starts. Free and reduced priced meals are available with application approval, visit the front office for more details about this program.

Ever wished that you could add money to your child's school lunches without having to drop off money in the cafeteria? Well you can! The www.mylunchmoney.com web site provides a convenient way for parents to prepay a child's lunch account, with only a small service fee. It even keeps a 7 day history of your child's purchases. Some parents may already know of this great service, but for those of us newer Davis parents, here are the details.
Go to www.mylunchmoney.com and create an account for your student attending Davis. In order to create an account, you will need to know their student ID number and grade. You can get the ID number from your student's report card, class schedule, or by calling the office at 414-2580. You will also need the zip code for Davis - 78727.
After you have created an account, you can immediately make prepayments to your child's account using your Visa or Mastercard. Just click the 'Fund' button, select the amount to add, and confirm the transaction. Prepayments appear in your student's account the next regular school day. There is a small service fee.
A Davis parent has been using this service since September and says, "It's so easy and I never have to worry about it. I set both of my students' accounts to automatically refill when their balances reaches $7.50. When it reaches that amount, the service charges my Mastercard for the amount I originally chose and then sends me an email about the transaction. It's great!"

Most students, especially the younger ones, don't always remember what they did all day. Eating lunch with your child gives you time to talk while they can still remember their morning. You can choose to eat in the cafeteria at your student's table, on the open tables on the stage, or outside at one of the picnic tables on campus. To find out when your child has lunch, check with his or her teacher. Please remember that students have only 30 minutes to eat and it is the parent's responsibility to return the student back to class on time.
