SCHOOL YEAR 2010-2011 7TH GRADE STUDENTS NEED IMMUNIZATIONS
New immunization requirements were put in place last school year. MOST incoming 7th grade students will be delinquent at the beginning of next year. Students must turn in an updated immunization record to the
Gorzycki health office before they can attend school next year. A notice is being sent home this week in the mail with the student's immunization needs with a list of clinics that provide shots. The Austin Travis County
Health Department Immunization Program is also having special 7th grade clinics as listed below:During May 2010, the Austin Travis County Health Department/ Immunization Program will concentrate on bringing 6th graders entering 7th grade up-to-date. We will be offering vaccination clinics, by appointment only.
3 clinics will be offering vaccines by appointment:
1. St. John Clinic, 7500 Blessing Avenue
2. Far South Clinic, 405 West Stassney Lane
2. Rosewood Zaragoza Clinic, 2800 Webberville Road
Tuesday, May 18th - Friday, May 21st, 11:20 am - 7:30 pm.
Saturday, May 22nd 8:20 am through 4:30 pm.
To book an appointment, patients need to call the immunization appointment line service at 972-5520. Please provide the Gorzycki health office with an updated immunization record as soon as the immunizations are updated.
