Bio: Ms. Higgins earned her Microbiology degree from Texas A&M, a doctorate of Immunology from the University of Texas Health Science Center Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and conducted post-doctorate lab studies in the Pathology Department of Stanford University. Margit and her husband, Scott, have two children: Tommy, 5th grade; and Lauren, 2nd grade.
