SUPPORT  THE  LASA  COMMUNITY

One of PFLASA's three primary goals is to secure resources to support LASA administration and faculty. We do this through cash purchases, in-kind donations, and assistance with linking outside resources to school needs.

Examples include purchases of books (eg. Statistics, Model UN, Tolkien, German, orchestral scores), equipment (eg. science lab plasmid kits, a deep-freeze freezer, Robotics tools), in-kind gifts (eg.office furniture, air travel for visiting speakers).

PFLASA solicits financial support from the PFLASA community through an annual fundraising appeal every September. In addition, keep your eyes out for "Wish Of The Week" - our weekly request for in-kind donations made through our online newsletter Lots Of LASA.

The PFLASA Fund is a member of a family of non-profit funds administered by the Austin Community Foundation. (You can learn more about ACF at www.austincommunityfoundation.org.)
