Choir Awards, Honors and Kudos
2007-08
Many students auditioned on October 21st. One of our altos, Melissa Schneider, was ranked number one Alto I in the region!
The following students were selected as some of the most talented in the entire region. They will participate in the Texas Music Educator's Association Region Choir Clinic on Saturday, November 10th and then give a concert at 6:00 PM at the Pflugerville Performing Arts Center.
- All Region Treble Choir: Alisar Eido -- Soprano 1 , Juliet Prather -- Soprano 2, Abby MacInnes -- Alto
- All Region Mixed Choir: Elliott Bucknall -- Bass 1, Kim Newcomb -- Soprano 2, Melissa Schneider -- Alto 1, Erin Thelen -- Soprano 1
2006-07
- Mac Choir students selected to Region Choir - Reno Bostick, Kathryn Parker, Melissa Schneider, and Erin Thelen were selected to Region Choir which will be performing in the Region Choir Concert on November 4th , 6:00 p.m., at the Hays Performing Arts Center. Melissa has been invited to continue on and audition for Area Choir. October 2006.
