From the President
Welcome to another great year!
I’m happy to be your PTSA President this year. My name is Dawn Watkins and my child is a Junior. As part of the PTSA Board, we are all committed to help the teachers and students have a successful year.
This year offers many volunteer opportunities for you and your student. It’s a great way to stay in touch with what is going on at the school. Remember, these hours can be recorded as service hours which are great for honors society and look great on college application.
We hope to see you at our first meeting on September 13 at 5:30 PM. (see below for all meeting dates).

Do you buy groceries? Of course, But did you know you can raise money for McCallum without any additional effort at the same time? Family, friends, or anyone wanting to help raise money for MAC can easily do so without all the fuss of regular fundraisers. Your grocery purchases can support McCallum each month!

PTSA Meeting Schedule

Meetings will be held on the 2nd Monday of each month, alternating between 5:30 PM in the cafeteria and Noon in the conference room. Here is a list of this years meetings:
- Monday, September 13 at 5:30 PM
- Monday, October 11 at Noon
- Monday, November 8 at 5:30 PM (Staff development day)
- Monday, December 13 at Noon
- Monday, January 10 at 5:30 PM
- Monday, February 14 at Noon
- Monday, March 21 at 5:30 PM (moved due to spring break)
- Monday, April 11 at Noon
- Monday, May 9 at 5:30 (elect officers for next year)
- Monday, June 13 at Noon (if necessary)
