School hours for Patton are 7:30am
to 2:45pm. Classes for grades K-5 begin promptly at 7:45am. Kindergarten
student will be supervised in the cafeteria until school begins. School
doors are opened at 7:30am. Children not riding buses may wait on the
front porch until the doors open and after school. Students who are
brought to school by car are to be let out in the front of the school or
in front of the portables, if that is where their classroom is located.
The parking lot is for school buses and staff parking only. Students must be picked up
at school no later than 2:55pm. Our crossing guards serve a valuable
role in the safety of our children. Please support theses individuals by
heeding their directions. They make every effort to keep traffic moving
safely.
All children are expected to
enter and depart from the school building and buses in an orderly
manner. Teachers open their classroom at 7:30am. Children are tardy
after 7:45am. Parents have the responsibility to get children to school
on time. The beginning of the school day is valuable instructional time.
Repeated tardiness will need to be validated by the parent and excused
by the school office.
