Eligibility
What are the eligibility requirements for AISD's GO Project?
- AISD students currently receiving special education services.
- Have an identified significant disability.
- Must be 19-22 years of age.
- Have met minimum graduation requirements.
- Student whose primary, ongoing needs are not related to a servere of profound emotional of behavioral deficit.
- Students must participate in an application process.
* A student with a significant disability is defined as an individual who requires extensive ongoing support in more than one major life activity to participate in integrated community settings and to enjoy the quality of life that is available to citizens with fewer or no disabilities. Support may be required for life activities such as mobility, communication, self-care and learning necessary for independent living, employment and self-sufficiency.
