HIGH SCHOOL
In Austin ISD high school students use technology as a tool to promote and extend learning on a daily basis. Our approach is to provide teachers with the skills and tools they need to integrate technology into the core curriculum.
Tyler Gill, Rebecca Hernandez, Jennifer Lazare, and Wanda Wilson will be piloting the use of Moodle as a course management system during the upcoming school year. These teachers from Bowie HS and Anderson HS attended training this summer provided by Instructional Technology. Moodle allows teachers to post their coursework online and to create a virtual classroom where students can share ideas.
