TRAINING

The Department of Instructional Technology offers a wide variety of training opportunities to ensure the technology proficiency of Austin Independent School District students and teachers. This training consists of a variety of Professional Development opportunities and on-site, campus based instructional support to assist with the integration of technology into the curriculum.

• Professional Development:

  The Department of Instructional Technology offers a wide variety of professional development opportunities for the AISD community every summer.

• Tutorials:

  The Department of Instructional Technology is developing a wiki to share tutorials and step-sets for much of the software teachers are using in their classrooms. The wiki also provides a place for teachers to showcase some of the projects they are using in their classrooms.
