The AISD science curriculum department provided professional development for Middle school science teachers on October 28th and 29th for the new E Path Assessment program for science.

This program has an extensive test bank which will enable teachers to develop their own short cycle assessments. The program also gives teachers an opportunity to monitor their student's progress and customize interventions to meet specific student needs. Science teachers were very excited about this new addition to the district resources for science, and many teachers left the training with short cycle assessments they developed and were ready to administer. The science coach at Webb MS stated, "What was taking 3 hours to do now takes 30 minutes. I love it!"
