ASDFF awards each selected film with a Certificate of Acceptance.  Supporting Festival Sponsors provide door prizes which passed on to student and teacher participants. Select prizes are awarded to filmmakers and teachers depending on donations and outside support.

Past prizes have included scholarships for film camps and high end technology trainings. Other prizes given away in the past include Apple iPods, Apple iPod shuffles, a Dell multipurpose printer, mini DV digital tapes, memory sticks, and t-shirts.
