Sequencing of Lessons |
|
| The Following is the list of activities, in order, for the computer-guided mode. The order is the same for elementary and middle schools, although the actual content of some of the exercises will vary based on the student's age and his or her typing speed.
After the student completes the typing test at the end, the skill level increases and the user starts from the beginning again. However, in subsequent iterations, the "Basics" section and warm up activities are not done. The student can always review the basics by clicking on the Basics link at the top of the screen. Activities listed as "training" use our training modules, in which the animated fingers are used to show the student how to press each key, and in which mistakes are not allowed. Activities listed as "exercises" are more real-world, in that the student is given some text to copy-type and is allowed to make mistakes. |
