Helpful Information

All Austin ISD Campus Staff and students have access to this online research portal. Nettrekker provides a safe and effective place for students elementary through high school to do internet research.

Logons and passwords are not be posted to internet web sites nor printed in documents for general public viewing.

Students and teachers can log on and use nettrekker both at school and at home. See login directions below.

Guide To Using nettrekker.com

1	At-school Login	The first time a student or teacher goes to the nettrekker.com site he/she will choose his/her campus and Submit. The computer will "remember" the campus after that first time and take the user directly to the front page.
2	At-home Login	Check with your campus ITRC for the login to be used from home for Nettrekker.
3	Doing a keyword or subject search for a topic.	A user can do a keyword search for any topic. Or he/she can choose a subject.
4	Choosing a readability level.	The user can specify a readability level.
5	Searching for sites in Spanish.	The user can search for sites in Spanish by selecting Refine Search. Choose Return results in Spanish.
