How To Use iNotes With Internet Explorer in OSX

Using iNotes to access your Lotus Notes email is very simple. This process can be followed to connect to your Lotus Notes email account using Internet Explorer from any computer in district and from home.

iNotes on the Mac will look a little different from your normal Lotus Notes Workspace but is easy to use and provides access from any networked computer, Mac or PC.

iNotes Favorite

Launch Internet Explorer from your Teacher's Dock. Next, click on the iNotes Favorite in your Favorites Bar below the Address Window.

If you do not see the iNotes Favorite, you can always type in the web address in the Address Window directly. See the illustration to the right.

iNotes Login

Next, you will be asked to log in.

Your iNotes Username is the same as your Notes Username.

Your iNotes Password will normally be the first six digits of your SS#. It may have been changed to another password and likely will not be the same as your Notes Password. If you cannot log in to iNotes, call Help Desk at 414-8324 for assistance.

Web Access Window

You will get the following window. Select "Use WebMail."

iNotes In Box

Finally, you will get an email window that allows you to manage your mail, your Notes Calendar, and other Notes features.

Remember, if you have any trouble connecting to iNotes, call the Help Desk at 414-8324. They will be happy to assist you.
