What to do if you are asked for a password.

The documents within this site have been protected at one time or another and sometimes you might be asked for a name and password before the document will load. If you see this:

simply push the "Cancel" button and the document will load.

Why do these documents open in Microsoft Word? Quite simply, they are in MS Word doc format. The format will change to PDF form as the documents are finalized and completed. Don't worry, you can print them and save them just the same.
Why am I being asked to insert LEGAL sized paper? The Matrix items that include all grade-levels are formated to be 8 1/2 x 14 in size. Thus, if you wish to have an accurate printout, you will need to load 8 1/2 x 14 (LEGAL) sized paper.
Oh no, I've changed the document and now it's asking me if I want to save. What do I do?!? Although it appears you have changed the document in the browser window, you have not actually changed the "online" document. What you are being asked is - You have changed the document, where on YOUR harddrive would you like to save the changed document. If you intended to make changes and would like to keep them, simply give it a place to save it on your computer; otherwise, simply press cancel and exit the document by closing the window.
How do I print?

(1) Select the document you wish to print
(2) Select "Print" from the "File" menu

When I try to open a document, nothing seems to happen. Some of the documents are very large. Give it some time to load. If the problem persists, use the [Feedback] option to indicate the problem.
The IPGs have a feedback option indicated at the bottom, how do I use this?

This option is available on all IPGs. Should you wish to give feedback, there are 2 ways to do it:

(1) Type directly into the available feedback fields(you can download the file with your changes when you close the browser window. You can also type into the field from the file on you computer - provided you went to the download section and downloaded the file to your computer)

(2) Print out the IPG and write directly on the document or create a seperate attachment.

Once you've completed you feedback, either email it back to the curriculum department or send it through school mail.

The download section.

The download section gives you the option to download the desired documents individually or as a complete set of documents in zip format. The download section also gives you an alternate way to view individual files.

To download a file, right click on the link and select "save target as". To download the zip file, simply click it and select a place on you computer to put it ("My Documents" or "Desktop" would be good places to place this file for easy retrieval).

General Feedback

[Online Feedback]
[Form Feedback]

There is an online feedback forum through Yahoo Groups. You can access this option by signing up for a Yahoo account (IT'S FREE - http://www.yahoo.com). The online feedback through Yahoo Groups allows for appriate feedback to be answered in a timely manner. There is also a database section where you can add comments about the Matrix and IPG documents specifically.

There is also a downloadable form that can be filled out and returned to the Curriculum Department.

Both options can be accessed from the curriculum main pages.
